A millipede. We learned that millipedes aren't poisonous. Centipedes are.

Be sure to bring a machete with you when you go to the jungle in case you get lost. Find this root and it has plenty of water inside. We all drank pure fresh earthy water from this root!
Going upstream on our boat took much longer, fighting against current and ending with a heavy rainstorm. We all wondered if our lodge got lots of water or not. Farewell Great Amazon! You have left all of us with lots of memories.

A morning to remember:
This morning, the girls crawled off the hammocks, the boys crawled off their beds. When we got to our rooms, the girls were shocked how many bug bites they got from the night before and changed for breakfast and to gojungle hiking. Once we were done with our meals, we picked out black rubber-boots to hike and started our morning. While walking, Vergena was the first person to slip on the muddy hill and fell on her bottom. She laughed and continue to hike. The tour showed us a lot of medical materials from a lot of plants and trees. We usually get most of our medical stuff from those materials. The guide demonstrated a tree full of termites. He put some on his right hand and told us that there is two options to prevent yourself from mosquitos. Which is “use the termite or be eaten alive by mosquitos”. Another thing we learned was some kind of wooden branch that has water inside, he (the guide) cut the beginning of the branch and water came out for us to try taste it. It tasted like normal water. We also saw a lot of different insects and a type of monkey. After some more hiking, Brianne fell and landed on her front and ended having some injuries. Then a few minutes later, guess who fell? Yup, I was the third person to fall to the ground, I got up and still continued to hike until it was over. When the hike was over, our mindset was “about time! We survived through the jungle hike” and went straight to our rooms to get ourselves ready to eat lunch. After some time, we were off to the boat to the small coast, got on the bus and rode it till the airport. Our flights got delayed by few hours and we managed to get to Lima around
midnight.
